I was experiencing irregular heartbeats and trouble breathing normally, the lab reports showed a small clot in the artery. I was prescribed Apixaban for the same, have been taking this medication for 3 months. The medication has helped me get rid of the clot. The blood flow is smooth and regular, no issues breathing, and I haven't noticed any side effects either.

I have been on Apixaban 2.5mg for 18 months for atrial fib. I have not experienced any side effects, had a cryogenic heart ablation performed 8 months ago, followed up with heart monitoring for 2 weeks. My surgeon has released me to go off all heart medications
