Sirolimus is used to prevent organ rejection after a kidney transplant, as told by my surgeon. I have been taking it since then. It's been 1 year now and I am living a happy life without any issues.

I underwent a kidney transplant 11 months ago and was put on Sirolimus to prevent rejection. The medication has suppressed my immune system and helped avoid any rejection. I did not have any trouble taking this medication, and the kidney transplant seems to be a success so far.
