I have been getting Sutent for my relative for nearly 4 years now. I visit him every 2-3 months, and I feel like God has given him another chance at life over the past 4 years. So far, he has not experienced any side effects, but he always talks about how much progress he has made in his life.

My father was on this drug for 6 months, and it worked significantly. He got his left kidney removed in 2013, and a few months ago, he was not able to breathe like before, so we went to the doc, and it turned out to be 3 tumors in his lung. He was put on the Sutent for 2 weeks and 1 week off. After 2 months, most of his tumors were gone or shrank to a size where they could be operated on.
